A little about Kathy “Kat” DeLong
My family and I moved to Lake Arrowhead in 1991 because we wanted our youngest son, Jason, to attend Rim of The World High School; a choice we’ve never regretted, as our mountain school district is one of the BEST in California. Jason is in his 30′s now, married and a chef at UCLA Converance Center here in Lake Arrowhead.
In 1997, I decided to go into Real Estate. I’m what they call a “Soft Sale” Realtor because of my no pressure personality-type. I treat people as I want to be treated. Nothing turns me off more than a pushing salesperson and I think most people feel the same.
My favorite part of this business is helping people through one of the biggest, most expensive and most important purchases of their lives. Along the way I have met many wonderful people. Now what else could I ask for? Life is good!
A couple of things about me…just for fun.
Before I became a Realtor, I actually did have another life. I was a wife, mother, proud home-maker and worked outside the home. During my “younger” days, a couple of places I was employed by were TRW and NORTHRUP, both in their electronics divisions.
But my best job ever was when I worked (a hundred yrs ago) at Winchelle’s Donut House. Ahhhh, the good old days.
My motto? NO PRESSURE. NO STRINGS. NO KIDDING.
